Stay humble.

I must remind myself daily to let go of my need to be understood. I forgive and love regardless of whether the other person “comes around”. Injustice cannot get in the way of peace. Christ has called us to live lives of peace–unfair people or situations do not negate that! The only way to truly be a peacemaker is to stay humble.

God, how totally fabulous you are–
Like good coffee and a clove cigarette–
Only much better for me
(though more dangerous, I’m sure).
